INVISIBLE RAY

Invisible Ray is a project I did in Leeds in 1984/85 with Mick Green (from Surfin Dave and later the first Henry record). It was all a goof but fun instruMENTAL stuff. I had a bash at all the instruments except the drums (which were just mic'ed kick,snare and L/R ambient in the cellar of Lion Studios. Tony Bonner was the long-suffering engineer. The version of Lost Highway also features guest appearances by Vince Berkely and Brendan Croker. "Just Like Mr Ray Says" got transformed into the title track on the Stone By Stone "I Pass For Human" CD. The gear on these sessions was mostly the Hagstrom (Damn Armstrong), the blonde Rick and my terrible, red fake strat all running through my too-loud-too-play-in-the-house Fender Twin.
