After a bit of a gap in which my life fell apart and then reshaped itself a bit I found that I'd been making a record without really being aware of it. NPTS is also very much a guitar record, kind of a follow-on from Nonfiction but with mostly programmed drums and percussion. It could probably have done with some more editing but hey. "Four Things" is I think the most successful track on there. Continuing the wear-your-influences-on-your-sleeve tradition is "Shut Up and Thank Frank" (as in Zappa) which I also really like. "Miss Nut and friend" is another nod to Fahey.
